KRS – Piano & Voice Lessons

My teaching style is very interactive, personable and fun.  I use Bastien, Alfred and Harmony resources and online supplemental materials as needed.  My customized “Eight P’s” for Voice along with musicnotes.com, CD’s, books, etc for voice has resulted in highly skilled vocalists. For Piano, we offer accoustic or electric keyboards and emphasize the 4 main areas of: Theory, Artistry, Technique and Performance.

As new lesson times and day openings become available, we will include an update on our web site and let you know.  To ensure your name is added to our waiting list, simply click the “CONTACT Kat” tab at the top our Home page. Lesson days are Tuesday – Thursday afternoons and evenings each week.

KRS Annual Studio Performances (Recitals)

Every year our annual recital includes memorized voice and piano music performances from all of our performing art students.  For 2012, the students composed their very own songs and piano pieces.  It was very challenging but exceptionally rewarding! In 2013, this will be our 6th annual recital featuring “Duet” performances from every student.  Recitals include musical genre from one of the 4 following eras:  Baroque, Romantic, Classical and Contemporary.  All I can say is be prepared to laugh and cry! I have had several of these “moments” during lesson  and performance times.  We hope your heart embraces a new song that spoke to you afterward!  Here are some highlights from past performances…

2018 – Love is in the Air celebrated all genres surrounding love

2017 – All American Recital to celebrate the presidential inaugural year!

2016 – Celebrating the Hits–top songs and music over the years!

2014 – Mix-it-up–blend of all genres!

2013 DUETS Recital

2012 “I am an Artist” Recital

 2011 Recital

Special thanks to… Jen Fields of J. Fields Photography & Scott Dyreng of Keystone Photography for taking our group recital portraits.  🙂
